“Yep. Held hands and started walking.” She almost got chocked up just thinking about it. Looking down at Storm, he was leaning over to get closer to his brother. “Hate to be apart.” Vitani added, stepping a little closer to Lily to satisfy the twins.
Lily stepped closer as Vitani did, watching the twins grab hands and smile at each other, giggling a little.
“That’s so sweet” she said, barely breathing as she watched her grandsons interact.
Oogie shifted his arms where he was leaning and smiled at the twins interacting. They seemed to do everything together. Wake up, fall asleep, play, they loved to be in each others company.
Vitani was grinning again as the twins held hands, her shoulder almost bumping shoulders. “It really is. Don’t want them to grow up.” She confessed, meeting Lily’s eyes. She probably felt the same, it had been a long time that Vitani had talked to a mother, being Oogie’s mother made it even better.

Vitani always loved how the twins talked to each other in their own way, she couldn’t wait for both of them to talk properly. She nodded, grinning. “They helped each other, it was a beautiful moment.”
“They helped each other?” she gasped, grinning all the more. “Oh, I bet that was a wonderful thing to see.”
She looked down at Thorn. “You’re clever boys, aren’t you?”
“Seems like they’re joined at the hip sometimes” Oogie added. “They get really upset when they’re not together.”
Oogie remembered how they’d reached for each other on the day they were born, missing each other even though there had been a few mere moments between them.

Vitani laughed as Thorn interjected, Storm turning around to face his brother. “You can join in too.” She cooed, wrinkling her nose playfully at her son. “Y’know, they should start talking soon. Took their first steps the other day.” She glanced up at Oogie, eyes swimming from the memories.
Lily giggled, watching them ‘talk’ between them. It was fascinating to watch, as if they’d come up with their own language.
“Did they?” she exclaimed excitedly. “Oh, it’s wonderful when they first start walking…”
Oogie grinned at the memory and nodded his head.
“It was…” he said with a slight chuckle. They worked as a team in order to take their first steps which made it all the more special.

“Thank you.” Vitani replied softly, gently rubbing Storm’s back. Vitani did feel very lucky to have beautiful children, with beautiful names too. She was overjoyed that Lily was able to see them too, that the twins got to see at least one of their grandparents. There was no way they would see them on Vitani’s side.
“You’re welcome” she said with a smile, watching Thorn look between the two of them as they spoke to one another. Out of nowhere, Thorn gave a shout and Lily giggled, seeing how happy he looked at having ‘spoken’.
Oogie moved a little closer, perching his arms on the edge of the chair in the corner of the room.
“Seems like somebody wants in on the conversation” he joked.

Vitani licked her lips nervously, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. She didn’t mind too much, after all, he could do a whole lot worse. Nodding slowly, she felt her gaze began to soften slowly.
At the mention of London, she glanced around as he did, no longer glaring. She was glad that the subject was off her at least. “I’ve been here only a few times.” She admitted. “Only for the shopping and restaurants but nothing more.” And even then her trips were brief, a few hours at the most. She had no full taste at what the capital of England had to offer.
Sherlock looked out across the cityscape, noting the mist in the distance that ensured the furthest buildings looked like ghostly illusions. While the weather was fairly nice now, it didn’t bode well for later. “I assume you have only visited the most commercial areas then. You should try a particular little bistro in Covent Garden. The owner is a slightly odd couple but their service is second to none and the food is appetizing.”
Sherlock stopped talking for a second and paused, biting his lip slightly. “Actually I am on a bit of undercover work right now. You understand how things are, sometimes the best course of action for a detective is to go out in the city and explore things that way. I am heading to Covent Garden to keep an eye out for a serial rapist and murderer. If you aren’t busy, I suppose you are tolerable enough to tag along. You could see some more of the city too.”
Vitani nodded at his statement, lifting one shoulder in a half shrug. “Sure, be nice to try something. I visit Covent Garden a lot. My husband and me go to Henry’s restaurant a lot.” She muttered with a faint chuckle. She wasn’t too fussed in confessing this, even if he had met Oogie, it was just conversation after all.
Vitani tilted her head slightly at him, but the smile remained still on her face. “Why not? I’d be a pleasure to join you.” She took the ‘tolerable’ comment as a compliment, used to his blunt words by now. “I’d like that.”
Vitani could remember all the trouble the twins caused even before they were born. Looking down at Storm, Vitani saw what Lily meant. “Spitting image of him, but yes…I guess they have my eyes.” Looking up at her mother-in-law again, she even saw similarities in her. Lily looked so much like Adhra too, she didn’t know why she didn’t see it earlier.
Shuffling Thorn in her arms, she shot him a warm smile, shrugging her shoulders up to her ears and down again.
“They’re beautiful…” she murmured, gently stroking Thorn’s hair. “I am so lucky to have such beautiful grandchildren.”
A warm smile spread across Oogie’s face. And him and Vitani were lucky to have such beautiful children - each one of them special and unique in their own way.
